look like/as though/as if
It looks as though there is some DNA contamination in your samples
It looks as if it will rain
The girl looks like her mother
POINT: Like should be used before a noun only, whenever a subject and verb follow, remember to substitute like with either as though or as if.
like后面只能跟名词，如果后面是从句，则要将like换成as thouth或者as if。
